As a Product Designer you will build on this foundation to ensure 15Five’s solution remains best in class and you will lead design efforts within a product squad and/or support design efforts in multiple squads. Operating autonomously with this group(s), you’ll collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering partners. This role requires confidence in and passion for developing only the highest-quality solutions for complex enterprise problems. A natural storyteller, you’ll be able to communicate the benefits of your designs as well as how they reflect 15Five’s core values across the board.


    • Product Design
    • Understand squad vision and objectives with support from Design, Product, and Engineering 
    • Consider how your designs can support that vision, broader product, and company objectives
    • Define customer issues with squad quadfecta (product manager, engineering lead, agile coach)
    • Create user flows, prototypes, and designs to solve these issues 
    • Use the Design System and frameworks to produce new designs and update existing ones
    • Seek guidance from your manager and senior designers as necessary with complex problems
    • Identify collaboration opportunities with other designers, squads, and teams with your manager
    • Leverage pair design sessions with your manager and other senior designers
    • Understand the role of and key concepts associated with positive product design at 15Five 
    • Ensure design quality and cohesion across your product area 
    • Produce designs that are visually cohesive with other products and anticipate their future
    • Work with Product Management and user research to define research goals and approach

    • Cultural Stewardship 
    • Serve as an active contributor to the design team and your squad’s culture
    • Identify, advocate for, and execute design-driven projects and initiatives within your area
    • Participate in other design-led projects, events, and discussions
    • Spread design thinking and enthusiasm throughout 15Five


    • 3+ years relevant Product Design experience
    • Experience designing interfaces for reporting and analytics 
    • Experience with Privacy UX (Finance, Healthcare, or HR software experience preferred)
    • B2B / SaaS experience designing complex UX, information architecture, and customer journeys
    • You have an understanding, and some experience in Lean and Agile practices


    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in 1-on-1 or group situations
    • Proficiency with layout, typography, and visual hierarchy 
    • Interest in and some proficiency in facilitating and synthesizing user research and data
    • Ability to convey complex ideas, goals, and problems clearly to those unfamiliar with the project
    • Proactively ask for feedback by sharing work early and often
    • Seek feedback to develop your skills and design toolkit
    • Provide direct feedback in Design Critiques and on Slack
    • Engage in continuous learning to identify strategic growth areas that contribute to your success


    • Monday: Start the week with the company Boost to hear important announcements, review squad priorities and sync with your PM for the week, then dive into deep work on squad projects 
    • Tuesday: Join your squad huddle to discuss and share in-progress designs, then spend the day doing deep work based on squad feedback or other work related to your design projects
    • Wednesday: Conduct 2 customer calls with your PM to validate prototypes, then join the design critique for internal feedback before further prototype work
    • Thursday: Spend your day focusing on refining designs that need to be ready before the next sprint, finishing with a 1:1 with your manager
    • Friday: After Question Friday at the company Boost, review priorities and discuss with your PM what needs to get done by end of day, address those items, and write your 15Five
