Job Overview

As Integration Manager you are responsible for the correct integration between the various (execution) activities that take place during the roll-out of the Digital Customer Interaction Platform regarding the integration of Dynamics 365 and the internal DUO applications. The integration is a critical success factor.
The Integration Manager reports to the DUO Dynamics program manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities

    • In this role you define the design and construction and coordinate the integration of all internal systems and subsystems to and from the Dynamics 365 system to achieve the desired functionality within the set frameworks;
    • You manage the interfaces between the subsystems during design and construction;
    • You are responsible for the verification and validation of the functionality of the commissioning process and/or internal and external providers regarding the integrations.
    • Within this role, you are the stakeholder who is aware of agreements, manuals, processes and guidelines. As a result, you are the one who can deliver the project documentation with the requested functional requirements;
    • Coordination with experts and teams from various other departments within DUO ICT and taking into account the "lessons learned" from previous projects.
    • Linking pin with the project team of the external Implementation Partner regarding the integrations and data migrations to all involved scrum teams within DUO ICT and the implementation departments in the business.
    • Participates in the planning meetings regarding the PIs related to the planning of the sprints within DUO Dynamics for the required ICT capacity.

Background Assignment

    • The Program is intended for the implementation of a new Digital Customer Interaction Platform, DUO Dynamics. The departments involved are Registers & Exams, Educational Institutions and Education Followers. The project is in the implementation phase of the 1st roll-out step. Further implementation steps will take place in 2025.
    • The 360-degree customer view is the vision that DUO advocates. The customer is central with all products and services for that customer. The 360-degree customer view is there for both the DUO employee and the customer themselves. The 360-degree customer view provides insight into all customer contacts.
    • The new DKP of DUO supports the specific situation and possibilities of both the private and business customer. The focus is on appropriate support of the customer by the employee.

Job requirements and Work Experience

    • Dutch CV - max 5 pages
    • Project management
    • Prince II Practitioner Certificate
    • Verification and Validation; experience in setting up and executing verification and validation processes to ensure that integrated systems meet specified requirements and
    • Experience with IT architecture; understanding of IT architecture principles and experience with designing and implementing integration solutions that fit the broader architecture of a
    • WO work and thinking level - 3 years
    • Experienced Project Manager; experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with involvement in PI planning and sprint coordination. - 5yrs
    • Extensive experience in integration management; preferably in large-scale IT projects where responsibility for the integration of complex systems such as Dynamic 365 with other systems. - 5 years

Nice to have

    • Knowledge of Dynamics 365: Demonstrable experience with implementing and integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365, including managing interfaces and working with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and middleware. Certifications such as PRINCE, PMI or Agile/Scrum are a plus.
    • Stakeholder management: Demonstrable experience in effectively managing stakeholders at various levels, including collaboration with external suppliers and internal departments within a large (public) organization. • Experience in government organizations: Experience working in the public sector, preferably within a government organization such as DUO, where knowledge of the specific processes and regulations is a requirement.
