We are currently seeking Store Manager in Germany.

Job Overview:

    • Store Managers are responsible for every aspect of the retail business and ensure that all areas of the store are engaged and high-performing and offer a first-class guest experience. Store Managers build team capabilities to drive strategy and achieve key results for the company. This role is responsible for the talent acquisition strategy, ongoing staff development, and growth within their community.

Main Job Responsibilities:

    • Leadership and People Management
    • Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment and culture by welcoming and valuing differences to ensure a positive and supportive experience for team members and guests.
    • Develop a vision for the store based on key metrics and initiatives and share it with all team members.
    • Build a strong and diverse team that includes team members with different experiences, backgrounds, and skills to manage store operations.
    • Manage the store’s hiring process, including recruiting, selection, and onboarding, taking into account IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Action) and other lululemon priorities.
    • Support ongoing learning and development of all store team members through direct feedback, coaching, mentoring, and guidance in career path planning as well as addressing performance issues.
    • Conduct career discussions to promote and strengthen the team’s understanding of how working at lululemon will contribute to their career and personal growth.
    • Provide team member recognition, assess gaps, and document overall performance to support and promote the professional and personal development of your team.
    • Plan and prepare the schedule for team members considering work requirements, availability, and budget.
    • Address all issues related to employee relations, including knowing when to collaborate with the People and Culture (P&C) team to take appropriate actions.
    • Working with Others
    • Build supportive and productive relationships with all team members focusing on personal and professional development.
    • Collaborate with team members in the store to ensure optimal guest experience that values the guests’ time and supports store operations.
    • Guest Experience
    • Support team members (e.g. through role modeling or coaching) to ensure a great guest experience, including assessing guest needs, providing technical product training, and supporting in-store and omnichannel transactions (e.g. buy online with pickup in store, phone sales, and shipping options).
    • Move dynamically on the sales floor to assess and meet the needs of the business, team, and guests.
    • Handle urgent issues, including guest escalations and emergency requests.
    • Operations
    • Manage the store’s profit and loss (P&L) in accordance with goals (sales, budget, etc.).
    • Plan and execute high-level quarterly and annual planning for the store regarding strategy, budget, and staffing (including recruiting and training/development).
    • Plan floor coverage and make decisions to maintain efficiency and effectiveness of sales floor operations.
    • Understand and comply with employee safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Perform work in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws or regulations.
    • Budget Responsibility:
    • Responsible for controllable budget; labor hours; annual sales plan target
    • People Management:
    • Leadership role with direct responsibility for all employees in the store (may delegate some aspects of management)

Job Requirements:

    • Eligibility Criteria
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located
    • Must be at least 18 years old
    • Must provide proof of work authorization and evidence regarding relevant local legal requirements (EMEA only)
    • Must be able to travel to the assigned store using own means of transport
    • Availability
    • Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Other Readiness Requirements
    • Willing to work as part of a team and also to complete tasks independently or alone
    • Willing to work in an environment with bright lights and loud music
    • Willing to walk through a store for most of a shift to assist guests and complete tasks
    • Willing to move boxes weighing up to 13.6 kg (30 pounds)
    • Experience
    • 1 year of experience in people management
    • Preferred Requirement for the Role (i.e. desirable but not mandatory)
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
    • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Experience: 2 years of retail or sales-specific management experience
