We are for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through outbound and inbound sales strategies.  With a focus on internal sales, the ideal candidate will leverage prior experience in business development to identify opportunities, nurture relationships, and close deals with new and existing clients. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, and networking
    • Client Engagement: Cultivate relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs, pain points, and goals.
    • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales process, from prospecting to closing, ensuring seamless follow-ups and timely communication
    • Sales Targets: Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
    • Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams, including the Talent team, Customer Success, and Digital Marketing, to align strategies and ensure client success
    • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales activity in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
    • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities
    • Proposal Development: Prepare and present tailored sales proposals that address client needs and position 1840 & Company as the preferred solutions provider

Qualifications:

    • Experience: 1-3+ years of experience in Business Development, Inside Sales, or Internal Sales roles, preferably in the outsourcing, staffing, or B2B services industry.
    • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience within talent solutions, outsourcing, recruitment, or business growth sectors is strongly preferred.

Skills:

    • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
    • Results-driven: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
