Job Overview
The Agile Compliance initiative focuses on connecting the compliance discipline and the BDO teams. Themes such as emergent compliance and inherited compliance are central to this, as is appropriate within a SAFe context. As a product manager, you are a member of the core team of the initiative and are therefore co-owner of the value that the initiative delivers. You report directly to the initiative leader and work closely with the other members of the core team. The client and theme owner is the Operations Manager.
The following results are targeted for the period up to the end of 2024:
Embedding the method in 10 BusDevOps Teams from different business units;
Securing the working method in the line. Disciplines involved are the BV Management, the CIO Office and the agile coaches.
The role of Product Manager in the context of compliance is new. In this context, it shows strong similarities with the role of the epic-owner Compliancy DUO. The product manager further develops this role, shapes the role and positions it in the organization.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Supporting and strengthening the core team;
- Sharpen and maintain Product Service Catalog;
- Giving practical substance to the concept: Agile Management of Compliance;
- Progress monitoring and management based on value delivery;
- Preparing and (co-)moderating consultations/co-creation sessions and focusing on results;
- Stakeholder management at different levels (operational, tactical and strategic)
- Co-providing maturity quick scans and translating the results into interventions;
- Promoting the philosophy and taking fellow POs along
Background assignment
- Within the change assignment Compliance in Order, the Agile Compliance initiative contributes to the safeguarding of compliance in the organization. With every other initiative, this initiative will be used to set up demonstrable compliance and to bring and keep the PDCA cycle in order.
- The Agile Compliance initiative was created with a twofold assignment: to quickly reduce the compliance gap and to invest compliance as 'business as usual' for all BusDevOps teams in DUO. With this initiative we want to achieve that applications are demonstrably delivered compliant by including the various laws and regulations in the software development. This prevents possible non-compliance and ADR findings at the front end. In addition, compliance must become business-as-usual (DUO Way of Working) in this way.

- Experience as a product manager - 2 years
- Demonstrable knowledge of and affinity with Compliance/Quality Built-in
