About the role:
As a Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality video content for multiple digital platforms,
including social media, webinars, podcasts, and launch campaigns. You’ll collaborate with designers,
copywriters, and strategists to deliver videos that amplify our brand voice and engage our audience.
Reporting to the Director of Brand & Content Strategy on the Marketing team, your work will play a key role in
humanizing our brand, increasing awareness, and driving community growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Creation: Edit and produce engaging video content for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Webinar & Event Edits: Manage post-production of webinars, fireside chats, and live events, creating polished assets for replay and promotion.
- Content Atomization: Create short, shareable video snippets from long-form content to maximize channel engagement.
- Brand Storytelling: Work closely with the rest of the marketing team to develop video narratives that align with our brand identity and goals.
- Motion Graphics: Incorporate on-brand animations, text overlays, and transitions to enhance video quality and clarity.
- Optimization: Adapt videos to platform specifications and audience preferences, ensuring maximum impact.
- Portfolio Management: Maintain a repository of reusable assets, templates, and project files for consistent output.
Requirements:
- Experience: Extensive video editing experience, preferably in startups or high-growth environments.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software; familiarity with Figma is a bonus.
- Creative Vision: Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics tailored to digital-first audiences.
- Adaptability: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills to work with globally distributed teams and integrate feedback effectively.
- Platform Knowledge: Understanding video requirements and trends across social media channels and various platforms.
- Must-Have: A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in video editing, visual storytelling, and social media content creation best practices.
- Nice-to-Have: Experience in sound editing, color grading, or 3D animation is a plus
