Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our Events Module. This platform is designed to provide seamless event management solutions for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events, supporting users in organizing, attending, and promoting events across a range of formats. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the product strategy, ensuring top-notch user experiences, and delivering features that drive engagement and satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, execute product initiatives, and ensure the platform meets the evolving needs of our users.

Responsibilities

    • Define product vision, objectives, and key results to meet user needs and align with market demands in the event management space.
    • Lead the development of new features and improvements to the Events Module, ensuring smooth integrations with other modules of the platform (e.g., social, video collaboration).
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, including event organizers, sponsors, and community partners, to gather feedback and prioritize enhancements.
    • Work closely with engineering and design teams to create a user-friendly interface that simplifies event management, from planning to execution.
    • Partner with marketing and sales teams to create go-to-market strategies for event module launches, ensuring proper positioning and promotion.
    • Drive data-driven decisions to improve engagement, streamline processes, and enhance user satisfaction with the Events Module.
    • Foster a collaborative, user-centric approach within the product development team, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in product management (or related role) at a venture capital-backed early-stage startup, with a focus on event management, SaaS, or community platforms.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Event Management, or a related field (preferred, not required).
    • Experience in event technology or event planning, with an understanding of the challenges event organizers face.
    • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools like Atlassian products (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Product Discovery).
    • Knowledge of virtual and hybrid event platforms, including streaming, networking, and ticketing systems.
    • Strong understanding of event management tools, event lifecycle (planning, promotion, execution), and associated user needs.
    • Proven track record in managing complex projects, setting timelines, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality product features.
    • Strong product instincts & passion for enhancing user engagement through event technology and experiences.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions and drive product growth.
    • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced startup environment.
    • Enthusiasm for learning, innovation, and contributing to a diverse, supportive team culture.
