As our first DevOps Engineer in the Dubai office, you will play a key role in shaping the infrastructure and deployment foundation of our organization. This is a unique opportunity to design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud infrastructure, and ensure reliable delivery of our applications and system components.
You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and other teams to embed automation, observability, and operational excellence into every stage of our development and deployment lifecycle. From managing Kubernetes environments and infrastructure as code to improving monitoring, incident response, and deployment efficiency, you will help build a platform that is robust, scalable, and easy to operate.

Key Responsibilities: Infrastructure & Automation
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration of infrastructure components.
- Maintain Kubernetes clusters and ensure efficient workload orchestration.
- Manage secrets, access control, and network policies across environments.
- Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and reliability.
CI/CD & Release Engineering
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, and repeatable deployments.
- Standardize and automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with developers to improve deployment velocity and rollback strategies.
- Ensure consistent delivery practices across staging and production.
Observability & Reliability
- Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Improve system visibility through metrics and tracing.
- Participate in incident response and postmortem analysis.
- Continuously identify and remediate sources of technical debt or instability.
Cross-Team Collaboration & Documentation
- Partner with engineering and product teams to support infrastructure needs.
- Create and maintain clear, reusable documentation and runbooks.
- Promote DevOps best practices across the organization.
What You’ll Need
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).
- Proficiency in managing containerized applications using Kubernetes (self-managed or managed services like EKS/GKE).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or FluxCD.
- Solid understanding of monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar).
- Familiarity with Linux systems, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Helm).

Solid experience with Amazon Web Services, including managing cloud infrastructure and services.
Proficiency in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
Experience with GitOps practices using tools like FluxCD; strong knowledge of Helm charts and Kustomize for Kubernetes resource management.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt for scalable and repeatable infrastructure.
Good understanding and practical experience with Istio service mesh for traffic management, security, and observability.
