1SEO Digital Agency is a private-equity backed digital marketing company located 30 minutes north of Philadelphia.  Our “mission” is to enable high quality local service providers to make effective connections with qualified customers located within 25 miles of their office.  We are converting a legacy digital marketing agency into a B2B technology company that sells “marketing as a service” to local service providers.

Our entire team works from our office in Bristol, PA, but our clients have physical offices in one or more cities across the US or Canada and fall in one of three categories: home services, health & wellness, or professional services. .


Position Responsibilities:

As our Marketing Systems Engineer, you will initially report to our VP of Finance & Data Systems. This position will initially be an “individual contributor” role (i.e. 'hands on’ with no direct reports); however you will be expected to lead our “information systems committee” which will include leaders and stakeholders from multiple departments across the company.  If you perform well in this role, you will be eligible for promotion to ‘Lead Information Systems Engineer’ and oversee all information systems at the company and receive additional headcount as support. 
Your mission will be to design and implement a comprehensive B2B client acquisition system and a B2C marketing automation system by streamlining multiple third-party marketing automation software systems and marketing databases. You will be responsible for, and be held accountable for, building all of the marketing automation systems at our Company. 

B2B Client Acquisition Systems: design, implement, and manage a comprehensive B2B marketing system capable of acquiring and nurturing prospective clients in the local service provider markets.  The marketing system should integrate with the sales pipeline management system and customer relationship management systems.

B2C Consumer Acquisition Systems: design, implement, and manage a comprehensive B2C marketing automation system capable of acquiring and nurturing consumers located within 25 miles of our clients offices.  The B2C marketing system should integrate with our customer relationship management systems and eventually with our proprietary client–facing web application, 

Content Management Systems: design, implement, and manage a content management system capable of organizing digital marketing assets for a large number of clients.  The system should be able to deploy assets across a variety of third-party websites and applications (social media, websites, advertising platforms, etc.)

Advertising Automation System: procure, implement, and manage a demand-side platform (DSP) capable of automating client advertising spend across a variety of online advertising networks.  System should be able to monitor and adapt advertising spend (either algorithmically or ideally via artificial intelligence) to optimize ROAS and minimize CAC on a daily (or real-time) basis,

Data & Analytics: design, implement, and manage a system for capturing, analyzing, and reporting on B2C marketing data and calculating not only lead counts but also customer acquisition cost (CAC) per channel. Incorporate marketing metrics such as MQL, SLQ, CAC, ROAS, etc.

Required Skills and Experience:
10+ years of information systems engineering experience
5+ years of experience working with marketing automation systems (advertising systems, performance marketing systems, lead traffic management, etc.)
Solid understanding of recurring revenue and subscription-based business models
Bachelor's Degree in engineering, data science, or mathematics
Experience managing teams at high-growth technology companies

Preferred Experience (But not Required)
Masters Degree (MBA, Masters of Engineering, Mathematics or Data Science)  
Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, Agile implementation  (Scrum,  Kanban, etc.)
SQL, DBA, or other database management experience
ERP management experience
M&A or acquisition integrations experience
