Role: Content Editor
Shift Hours: 20 hours/week (may increase based on performance and business needs)
Shift Schedule: Flexible, but must be logged in between 8 to 12 PM Eastern Time for meetings
Tier Level: MT3
Job Description
- The Content Editor’s tasks and responsibilities include:
- Editing internal and external content produced by the Content Writers
- Write and edit content for the company’s PR initiatives including:
- Press releases
- Awards applications
- Podcast guesting primers
- Working cross-functionally with other departments to provide content creation and editing support for:
- Emails and email templates
- Scripts (videos, podcasts, cold calls, etc.)
- Website content (forms, landing pages, questionnaires, etc.)
- Internal documents (emails, course guides, training material, etc.)
- Marketing collateral
- Ad hoc content creation and editing as requested by the Content Manager/Digital Marketing Director
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Editing and proofreading
- Basic knowledge of SEO
- Digital marketing
- Creative thinking
- Research
- Basic Canva experience is a plus
- Project management (experience using Asana is a plus)
