Senior Team Operations Manager

London
Operations – Clinical Operations /
Full-time /
Hybrid
At 32Co, our mission is bold: empower generalist clinicians to deliver specialist-level care to millions of people through our cutting-edge platform. Imagine being able to walk into your local clinic and receive the same quality of care you’d expect on Harley Street.

That’s the future we’re building - starting with two multi-billion-dollar markets. To make this possible, we’re harnessing the latest advances in AI to power our platform, streamline specialist knowledge, and deliver it at scale.

Backed from day one by Balderton Capital (the investors behind Revolut, Citymapper, and Depop), we’ve already proven our model, gained strong traction, and are scaling rapidly across the UK and beyond. And we’re just getting started - our ambition is to expand into multiple healthcare verticals, bringing innovation and accessibility to every corner of medicine.

Overview:
At 32Co, our orthodontic designers and the treatment plans they create are the heart of our ortho/aligner product. This team transforms clinical expertise into world-class treatment plans for dentists and their patients.

We’re now looking for someone to partner closely with Rohan, our Head of Design, and Nick, our VP Operations, to ensure this team is empowered, engaged, and operating at its very best.

Your mission is to keep our designers thriving: through great onboarding, recognition, performance support, and projects that make the team more effective as we grow. We’re scaling rapidly, so a big part of this role is collaborating with our talent and onboarding teams to ensure our hiring engine is working effectively.

If you love helping teams do the best work of their lives, care about people as much as process, and want to play a key role in scaling a high-performing healthtech team, this role is for you.

What you’ll do:
Manage and improve the recruitment of brilliant orthodontic designers, ensuring that capacity keeps pace with our rapid growth (you’ll be supported by our talent team).
• Support delivery of exceptional onboarding experiences (in collaboration with designer onboarding team) that quickly get new designers confident, connected, and productive.
Lead on performance management, including tracking key metrics, helping prepare feedback, and ensuring designers understand their progress and growth opportunities.
Recognise and share great work, helping the whole 32Co team celebrate design wins and creating case studies that showcase the quality and impact of our design work.
Engage and energise our designer community, keeping communication strong, morale high, and team members connected even when working remotely.
Define progression pathways in the team
Lead ad hoc projects to improve how the design team operates, from improving workflows to testing new engagement strategies or tools and processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Prep, Product & Tech and Clinical, to make sure the design team is supported and integrated into the wider business.

Essential:
• Experience managing people or teams, with a track record of creating high-performance and high-development environments.
• Some background in dental or healthcare, with enough familiarity to understand the context our designers work in.
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple processes and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially when working with remote teams.
• Both high EQ and IQ.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:
People-first and empathetic. You care about how people feel. You thrive in roles where you support and enable others to do the best work of their lives.
Organised and proactive. You like bringing structure to fast-moving environments and spotting problems before they arise.
Clear and confident communicator. You can keep a remote team connected, informed, and engaged both in async and real-time environments.
Curious and improvement-focused. You’re always asking, “how can we make this better?”. You think 5 steps ahead to visualise and build towards the future of your team.
Comfortable with pace and change. You enjoy the rapid pace and energy that comes with a scaling startup and can help others adapt.
Excited by healthcare innovation. You’re motivated by the real-world impact of helping clinicians deliver better care to patients.

Why join us:
See your work translate into real-world impact - you’ll have the chance to help change lives every day and meet the people whose care you’re improving.
