RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and maintain automation strategy and roadmap.
- Work across teams defining and articulating automation strategies that align to goals and objectives. Develop, implement, test
- automation test suites for maximum test coverage.
- Work with engineering and develop teams to improve delivery and performance of test automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with project teams to translate business and customer project objectives into test automation requirements.
- Engage with other quality analysts to collect and automate testing work outcomes.
- Report out on automation improvements and progress to management teams.
- Ability to triage, analyze and debug complex problems and work independently towards a resolution.
- Deliver automating tests at Unit, API, UI and all Non UI levels.
- Maintain systematic catalog and or library of automation tests using plans, suites, and cases.
- Build key performance indicators for status and communication of automation outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of quality experience writing automation frameworks, quality metrics and test coverage for complex web applications.
- 5+ demonstrated experience working in various testing methodologies and up to date on the latest industry standards.
- 3+ years working with CI/CD frameworks to integrate quality automation into builds and release pipelines.
- 2+ years of experience managing test strategy using tools such as Jira or similar.
- Experience implementing automation for API and Services Oriented architectures.
- Test experience within a micro services based architecture.
- 3 + years of experience in testing web based applications.
- 2+ years working in cloud services environment such as AWS, Azure, Google or other.
- Ability to interpret and write complex queries using SQL and other similar query languages.
- 2+ years developing test automation using Selenium, Test Architect, Subject7 or other similar packages.
- Java experience an must.
- 4+ years of Agile/SCRUM experience
- 3-4 years of Katalon Studio
- Clear written and oral communication
- Ability to lead others in defining automation strategies
