Resposibilities
- Designing, building infrastructure on AWS environment
- Manage cloud-based infrastructure; may be required to provide support
- off-hours if needed
- Migrating existing services from physical data centers to AWS cloud
- Use configuration management tools like Puppet for provisioning
- Troubleshooting full web and mobile stack. Qualified candidate is
- required to have experience in troubleshooting live heavy traffic web
- applications, troubleshooting CDN related issues, CDN configuration
- deployment. They should have experience in managing clusters, load
- balancers, isolating traffic when needed, etc.
- Candidate should have experience in managing Mysql or noSQL databases
- receiving high traffic
- Candidate should have experience in monitoring tools (AppDynamics)
- Troubleshoot production issues; escalate and communicate as required
- Performance tuning for hosting environments, including application components
- Build design and training documentation required for each automation project
- Work with software development teams to improve the readiness for
- operational deployment
- Write scripts to automate operations, server management and auto scaling
Requirement
- Experience with building and maintaining applications in large-scale
- consumer websites running on Linux using Apache/nginx, mysql, mongo, node.js, PHP, JavaScript for web
- Comfortable with any one of the programming languages like PHP or python
- Experience with MySQL and No-SQL database like mongodb
- Experience with GIT, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Gulp,
- WebPack,SauceLabs, SonarQube for source control, deployments and
- continuous integration
- Ability to be proactive and work well in a pressured and growing environment
- Ability to think out of the box and be able to work on multiple tasks
- simultaneously and adjust priority dynamically and maintain a
- professional demeanor during stressful situations
- Must demonstrate strong sense of urgency regarding solving mission
- critical issues
- Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with
- attention details
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be a team player and be able to work effectively with peers to
- create a positive environment
