We are looking for a Corporate Controller to join our global finance team and take on an instrumental role in the growth of 3Pillar! The Corporate Controller will be responsible for the company's global financial accounting practices and policies, the maintenance of its fiscal records and the preparation of financial reports. This role will oversee globally the timely monthly close of the general ledger, consolidation and reporting of financial results, coordination of audits, and the development of and compliance with internal controls. Additionally, this position carries responsibility for all daily activities for and development of a team of global employees.

Responsibilities: 
 
•Lead the management of 3Pillar’s overall system of accounts, books and records on all company transactions
•Fully coordinate independent audits and prepare financial statements and footnotes
•Manage timely completion of internal financial statements and preparation of internal reporting packages
•Ensure global financial statements are in compliance with U.S. GAAP standards and reconciliations are completed with adherence to a tight close calendar. 
•Ensure accurate and timely computation and payment of global payroll, commissions and expense reimbursements.
•Establish and ensure compliance with a robust internal control environment.
•Provide input into the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
•Collaborate with the financial planning and analysis team to review, investigate and document significant variances from budget and forecast.
•Identify potential risk areas for the business.
•Ensure accounting systems integrate properly with other internal systems and are sufficient to meet requirements for audits and periodic reporting on a timely basis.
•Manage global tax compliance.
•Ensure compliance with all international, federal, state and local corporate, payroll and other applicable taxes and regulations.
•Ensure compliance with bank credit agreements, including timely reporting and monitoring of financial covenants.
•Manage 3Pillar’s treasury function.
•Monitor cash requirements and controls in place across global bank accounts.
•Ensure the timely collections of accounts receivable.
•Assist with formulating the financial objectives and policies of the company, and prepare reports that outline the company's progress toward those objectives and financial position.
•Support 3Pillar’s M&A strategy, working closely with the company’s M&A team.
•Participate in due diligence activities, including assessment of U.S. GAAP reporting at target companies.
•Serve as a functional lead during integration, leading the accounting team in transitioning acquired companies into 3Pillar systems, processes and reporting requirements.
•Direct team members’ daily activities and career development.
 
Qualifications: 
 
•Minimum 8-10 years of related experience
•Strong management skills and experience in a leadership role  
•Broad experience in accounting and ability to apply deep knowledge of GAAP to business scenarios
•Able to live the company’s values of intrinsic dignity, open collaboration, outsized impact and continuous improvement
•Strong technical accounting skills, including significant experience with implementing new accounting standards
•CPA certification required
•Experience with a high growth, global technology company a plus 
•Highly proficient in financial analysis, problem solving, strategic decision making.
•Strong attention to detail and organization skills; able to see the big picture.
•Ability to work on tight timelines and under deadlines
