We are looking for the best
As a 3D Vision Engineer at 42dot, you will research and develop advanced autonomous driving technologies. Utilizing sophisticated computer vision and machine learning techniques, you will process various visual data acquired from autonomous vehicles to accurately determine the vehicle's current location. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams at 42dot that employ computer vision and localization technologies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and develop 3D computer vision and machine learning algorithms to enhance autonomous driving technology.
- Specialize in 3D reconstruction from multi-view and sensor data.
- Focus on 3D geometry aspects such as VSLAM, VIO, and SfM.
- Develop algorithms for motion estimation, matching, and tracking in 3D environments.
- Implement non-linear optimization techniques to improve algorithm performance.
- Lead efforts in sensor calibration to ensure accurate perception capabilities for autonomous vehicles.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- Master's or PhD degree, or equivalent experience, in computer vision, robotics, machine learning, or a related field
- Theoretical and practical knowledge in computer vision and machine learning
- Excellent programming skills (C/C++, Python, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in research and development related to autonomous driving and robotics
- Development experience using various sensors such as GPS, IMU, cameras, and LIDAR
- Experience in developing VR/AR applications
- Experience in parallel programming and system optimization
- Relevant development experience and involvement in academic activities in related fields (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, IJCV, TIP, TPAMI, etc.)
