5x is an end to end data platform built on top of the best in class vendors across the modern data stack. Think Databricks but built on top of the best in class vendors of the modern data stack.

The modern data stack movement is no longer a nice to have, every company is going to be using it in 5 years. The problem is that the stack is extremely fragmented and you have different best in class vendors which service different layers on the stack. At 5x our top priority is to stitch together the modern data stack and provide it as a service. Picture every company using 5x as getting a core stack (Fivetran, Snowflake, dbt) out of the box with user permissions, security, GDPR process, PII process built on top of.

We are looking to grow our Sales team and enter international markets. This will be the first Sales hire outside of the US.

Responsibilities

    • In this role, you will be an instrumental player in evangelizing the 5x platform and responsible for growing our new business. We're looking for someone who’s ambitious and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. This person should naturally build deep customer relationships, think strategically, and has the drive to go the extra mile for the customer.
    • Manage all aspects of the sales funnel from lead creation and qualification to close
    • Educate prospects and develop strategies and use cases for their data analytics teams
    • Exceed sales goals and quarterly revenue targets while contributing to overall team goals
    • Bring valuable insights and product feedback to our Product team in an organized, actionable format to facilitate ongoing client-driven product development

Requirements

    • Prior experience is the modern data stack space is a must
    • Proven track record of overachievement in a full cycle B2B sales and/or revenue closing role, specifically in bringing on new logos
    • Entrepreneurial spirit--you are driven to crush sales goals
    • Demonstrated success selling SaaS products
    • Experience in working in a fast-paced, high-energy culture
    • Ability to identify a prospect’s needs and correlate them to 5x’s offering
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills, verbal skills, and writing skills
    • Experience using a CRM for pipeline management
