Our rapidly growing and cross disciplinary team consists of creative bioengineers and synthetic biologists working alongside data scientists to create cutting-edge solutions to problems in gene therapy. 

The Office Manager will join during a transformative period in 64x Bio’s growth and will help to create the environment, culture and systems to support the company and its employees through this phase. Based out of our San Francisco headquarters, this role requires balancing multiple priorities and working independently to support the needs of the office.


    • Contribute to and collaborate with the team by assisting in the day-to-day operations of a rapidly growing office space.
    • Responsible for maintaining, ordering, stocking, and distribution of lab and office supplies.
    • Greet and direct visitors to 64x Bio in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Administer calendars for conference rooms and set up rooms appropriately ahead of meetings.
    • Assist in scheduling and coordinating building tours, interviews, and company site visits.
    • Partner cross functionally to drive and support event planning and culture initiatives.
    • Help to streamline processes and set-up systems that keep a fast-growing company operating efficiently.
    • Maintain relationships with vendors and serve as the primary point of contact across various functions.
    • Create and update databases with personnel, financial, and other sensitive data.
    • Liaise with business leaders and key stakeholders to support people team initiatives and new hire on-boarding (badge access programming and distribution, office tours, etc.).
    • Advance other activities within the company as needed.

About You

    • 3+ years of professional work experience in a highly collaborative environment (ideally in a start-up or scale-up) in a similar capacity.
    • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask/advance many projects simultaneously.
    • Passion for implementing processes and workflows to create order, structure, and efficiency. 
    • Expertise in Google Suite and Mac OSX as well as proficiency in Windows systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems quickly.
    • Ability to reprioritize throughout the day and week as new needs arise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
    • Very strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a wide array of personalities and work styles.
