Join an international start-up working on high-quality training simulations that are fun, interactive, and accessible to everyone.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work closely with the Art Director to deliver the art vision within the project requirements
    • Develop and find the best tools and methods possible for improving and facilitating the work of the artists
    • Produce documentation on tools, processes, and mobile platform constraints
    • Assure assets are of the highest technical quality
    • Drive optimization and debugging

REQUIREMENTS:

    • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Artist
    • Professional or personal experience working with UE4
    • Shader creation skills using UE4 Material Editor
    • Knowledge of real-time modeling techniques
    • Knowledge of Maya/3ds Max, Houdini, Substance Designer, Painter
    • Knowledge of the technical constraints of mobile platforms and the ability to find creative solutions to work around them
    • Understanding of performance bottlenecks, particularly translucency overdraw and pixel shading costs
    • Positive influence and leadership skills
    • Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing
    • Strong technical skills and ability to write technical documentation
    • A high degree of self-motivation and discipline

NICE TO HAVE:

    • Experience working as a VFX artist on titles developed for the Oculus Quest or mobile games
    • Knowledge and handling of Unreal Cascade
    • Experience with Unreal Niagara
    • Blueprint scripting experience
    • Knowledge of C++ programming
    • Experience or interest in VR and related technology
    • Shipped title experience
    • Experience with Perforce
