Implementation Enablement Engineer
8x8 is seeking a polished support professional to facilitate business processes and maximize efficiency. The successful candidate will be a strong leader, innovator and creative force in the development of a comprehensive customer facing process strategy in order to deliver a superior internal process that mirrors a world class customer approach. This position is technical but also requires work cross-functionally within a corporate environment to champion ideas and drive change. We are looking for a hands-on, results-oriented visionary who is passionate about the intersection of automation, efficiency and an enjoyable customer journey.
The Implementation Enablement Engineer conceptualizes, defines and drives initiatives and is responsible for the team’s key deliverables. This involves strong leadership and communication skills as well as strong technical skills. This role works collaboratively with senior leaders across all distribution channels to identify the technology needed by the sales force to create business value.
Lead efforts in evolving discovery for sales and implementation enablement
Develop, implement and optimize business processes, maximize efficiency, and reduce costs
Work closely with the Director and SVP to deliver on strategy and Distribution and enterprise-wide projects and initiatives
Experience with developing technologies
Prior experience implementing Salesforce and Salesforce app integration
Project management skills and experience managing teams
Technical understanding of data integration practices
Experience leading team towards innovative strategic solutions
Ability to act as player-coach, as needed
Strive for excellence in business results, monitor progress of teams, and coach to excellence
Create a proactive mindset in how department meets its goals and works with others
Interact with senior management, influence decisions on strategies and negotiates and manages conflict to support change management
Be flexible and responsive to rapid change and manage situations accordingly
Cultivate strong working relationships with users, peers and vendors alike
Foster a sense of urgency by taking immediate action in times of need and rally the team to meet long term goals
Bachelor degree technical field of study
Prefer 5+ years exposure to sales and implementation organizations and their technologies
Strong background in management of technical projects related to reporting, CRM, data warehousing, and/or other complex systems
Ability to champion and drive change with successful results across business units
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Can handle 1:1 situations as easily as commanding groups in multiple formats: in-person, phone, email, conferences
Ability to create, build, and maintain positive working relationships at all levels of the organization
Strong leadership skills including willingness to accept responsibility, demonstrate integrity and commitment
Continuously open to and solicits feedback from users, peers, and others to monitor and track progress of the team, projects, initiatives, and self
