We are seeking a Key Accounts Manager role based in our Singapore office, with Mobile Messaging, Cloud Services, Mobile Technology or UCaaS experience supporting and growing our client base in APAC.

This role requires a solid background of sales and key customers management, with working contacts from local or regional E-commerce, Logistics business, Fintech and Insurance.

The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for developing customer’s relationships that promote retention and loyalty with key accounts. You have to demonstrate hands-on experience in building strong business relationships with mid-level and senior executive across marketing, customer service, customer experience and technical teams.

The successful candidate will be accountable for identifying, qualifying and closing new customers. Optimizing the customer experience, upsell and cross sell within existing portfolio are also some of his/her goals. This role is both hunting and farming.


The Key Accounts Manager also needs to demonstrate the following abilities:

Hands-on experience in building strong business relationships with mid-level and senior executive across  marketing, customer service, customer experience and technical teams
The ability to generate new business and on-board new logos. In addition, to also up-sell and cross-sell by managing his how portfolio of accounts.
A proven track record in sales target achievements

Main Responsibilities:

Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new businesses for Wavecell to an agreed annual qualitative and quantitative target, increasing year by year.
Focused on closing, retaining, upselling and cross selling within key customers in vertical markets like E-Commerce, Transport/Logistic, Digital Marketplaces, Banks and Insurance.
You will have individual responsibility for new businesses and is expected to self-manage; you are also expected to work with all internal stakeholders for complex and large deals.
Manage and develop the sales pipeline, ensuring all sales administration is kept up-to-date.
Be able to handle sales objection, CXO conversations, rallying industry executive relationships, negotiate and close deals.
Responsible for managing the relationship with key accounts and interact at all levels within the customer’s organization.
Get customers to stay with us, purchase more, introduce us to other departments of their company in order to explore new use cases which could bring in new sales.
Possess drive, motivation, and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities to Wavecell are captured and explored.
Be proactive to retain customers and strengthening the relationships
Actively and successfully manage the entire sales process.
Frequent travel is to be expected.

Desired skills and experience:

With more than 5 years of sales experience in the Mobile, Internet or UCaaS industry with at least 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role. Previous experience in the mobile messaging or emailing industry is highly beneficial but not necessary. 
Hands-on experience in fast-moving IT solutions/ software environments.
The potential candidate is self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
Able to meet tight deadlines, follow up on commitments, and take disciplinary action wherever appropriate.
Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with strong selling and sales aptitude.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and persuasive skills across all levels.
Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, integrity, commitment and independent with hands-on personality.
Excellent overview of the business to closely track industry and product trends to stay on top of the game.
Customer-driven focus and excellent people skills to establish a good rapport with customers.
Resourceful, strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently and cope with pressure.
A strong team player with excellent personal relationship skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree from a leading institute.
