We are looking for an experienced Business Development and Trading Manager who has experience working with industry partners, enjoys working in a fast-growing cloud communications company and thrives in an international environment. As a Business Development and Trading Manager, you will be responsible for connecting and working with industry partners to help grow the SMS business. This role will be based in our Singapore office.

Main Responsibilities:

Successfully generating leads and acquiring new partners in line with the agreed strategy
Managing new and existing partners and accounts for sales opportunities and growth
Participating in sales and marketing activities and relevant industry events
Keeping updated on industry trends and movements and advising management accordingly through regular networking
Establishing relations and liaising closely with all internal support teams (finance, legal, operations, customer support etc.) to attain good level of customer satisfaction
Introducing, uploading and maintaining relevant prospect/customer information into the company’s CRM tool

Desired skills and experience:

Ideally between 3 – 5 years of experience in the Mobile or Internet industry in a similar capacity
Experience in SMS Wholesale business with extensive global contacts
Relevant technical knowledge of international SMS transmission is advantageous
Fluency in an Asian language (such as Chinese, Thai or Bahasa) is an added advantage
Pro-active team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Resourceful, strong problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to work independently and cope with pressure
Must be willing to travel up to 25% or when needed by the company
Due to the nature of the SMS/Mobile industry, non-traditional working hours may be required


A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from a leading university
Written and verbal fluency in English and an asian language (such as Chinese, Thai or Bahasa) is prefered (required to handle clients and suppliers).
