8x8 International SRL, located in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, is looking to hire talented Quality Assurance Engineers to join our growing technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of the 8x8 engineering team that is involved in the entire life cycle of development. 
The Virtual Contact Center solution enables organizations to easily and cost-efficiently manage multiple, geographically dispersed agents. This powerful, easy-to-use, cloud-based solution improves customer interactions and agent productivity.
The  web application that we created is a simple and efficient solution offering not only world-class contact center capabilities, but also workforce optimization and unified communications.
You will be part of a large, highly qualified and experienced team, working in an Agile environment.


    • Take part in all application development life cycle phases, according to the agreed Test Strategy
    • Acting as liaison between development and business teams – provided visibility and clarity into business requirements to the development teams, and provided design and architecture insights to the business teams
    • Work closely with the Product Owner, Developers, and Testers in order to deliver the tasks in time and with the expected quality
    • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
    • Troubleshoot, analyze and isolate defects and report them to an issue and project tracking software
    • Investigate, reproduce and characterize defects and test failures resulted from customer feedback
    • Maintain existing test cases and extend the test coverage by adding new cases
    • Execute test cases across the functional areas of the application
    • Perform extensive functionality, integration, regression, interoperability and end-to-end system testing independently or with the team
    • Analyze and follow-up automated test execution reports and set the proper corrective actions if needed
    • Attend SCRUM ceremonies and other important meetings


    • Team oriented personality, enjoying working with others 
    • Familiar with Quality Assurance terms, standards, strategies and procedures.
    • Basic knowledge about working in an Agile/Scrum development process as an Agile tester
    • Basic knowledge about Atlassian JIRA and Confluence or any other bug and project tracking software
    • Basic understanding of SDLC
    • Basic test design, test execution, test reporting skills
    • Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance terms, standards, strategies and procedures 
    • Good organizational and self-management skills
    • Outstanding communication skills (English)

Nice to have:

    • Understanding of CI/CD, familiar with Jenkins
    • Tooling experience (debugging, security, api testing, database query, kafka/jms)
    • Previous experience working in Testing, Support, or Call Center
