The Image Production Director will oversee and manage all image and video-related projects, ensuring high standards of quality and creativity. This role involves planning and executing the image production calendar, managing a team of internal and external producers and creatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver visually compelling content that aligns with the brand’s vision and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end production of all image projects, including campaigns, lookbooks, e-commerce shoots, editorial content, and special projects.
- Develop and manage the image production calendar, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., brand marketing, merchandising, design) to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Lead and mentor internal image team, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet project objectives.
- Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects, balancing workload and team capacity.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team.
- Collaborate with art directors, stylists, photographers, and other creatives to maintain the brand’s aesthetic integrity.
- Ensure all visual content adheres to brand standards.
- Review and approve final assets, ensuring consistency and quality across all channels.
- Prepare and manage production budgets, negotiating with vendors and external partners to optimize costs.
- Source and manage relationships with production houses, photographers, stylists, and other external collaborators.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Propose innovative solutions to enhance the production process and the overall visual impact of campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in creative production, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the luxury fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of photography, styling, and visual storytelling production processes.
- Exceptional project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and team-building abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in production software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, project management platforms).
$120,000 - $135,000 a year
