Purpose and Objective
Throughout the course of a 12-week paid internship, the Design Studio Intern will get hands-on experience in the creative process and contribute to a variety of design projects. This internship is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain insight into the workings of a design studio, and collaborate with seasoned professionals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide general support to the Design team on various projects as needed.
- Assist in maintaining design files, ensuring they are organized and up to date.
- Help prepare and organize design assets for presentations.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and collaborate with designers on ongoing projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) or similar design software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio showcasing your design work (academic projects, personal projects, or freelance work).
$18 - $18 an hour
