About the role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps for Accompany Health, you will be:

-A mission-critical, early member of our growing team and companyWill lead efforts across engineering to build a scalable, reliable platform that millions depend on
-Help set the technology foundation for our infrastructure and DevOps: You will define our architecture and ensure that our technology approach meets short-term agility needs and sets us up to scale and evolve long term.
-Collaborate across the organization to simplify healthcare: Your technical decisions will have significant impact, and you’ll work across various teams to execute on strategic initiatives

Responsibilities will include:

    • Champion the adoption of immutable containers, Infrastructure as Code, stateless applications, and comprehensive software observability throughout the organization
    • Design and implement robust application and infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting systems
    • Ensure we maintain current patches and address security vulnerabilities through automation and by integrating security practices into our SDLC processes
    • Drive code velocity improvements and streamline engineering processes to reduce deployment time and increase development efficiencyArchitect and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure
    • Establish best practices for incident response and disaster recovery

Desired skills and experience:

    • Required
    • 7+ years hands-on DevOps/Platform Engineering experience
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Deep expertise in the following:
    • AWS or GCP (Cloud architecture)
    • Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
    • Kubernetes (container orchestration)
    • Docker (containerization) 
    • Advanced networking concepts (VPCs, loading balance, DNS)
    • Security Standards and best practicesVault (secrets management)
    • Github actions (CI/CD workflows)
    • Current knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps and end to end testing principles

    • Preferred 
    • Data infrastructure experience including ETL pipeline, reporting systems and data monitoring
    • AWS Aurora (managed database service)
    • Redis (in-memory data structure store)
    • Python programming
    • Crossplane (cloud-native control plane)
    • Experience with high-trust environments and SOC 2 compliance requirements
$175,000 - $200,000 a year
The base salary range for this full-time position is $175,000-$200,000 + equity + benefits.  Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  Our talent team can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
