About the Role
We seek a seasoned Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Lead with an incredible eye for potential who knows how to source, vet, and pique the interest of the most in-demand minds in tech. You’ll partner deeply with senior leadership to bring the brilliant leaders aboard to help shape and grow our studio and portfolio of companies.  This represents an incredible opportunity to engage top talent and has a seat at the table as we build out the workstreams and strategies that will be the cornerstone of our future holistic talent strategy. 

As part of our team, you will be charged with finding the most attractive candidates who bring an entrepreneurial spirit and an innovative approach to all they do. You’ll guide candidates through our hiring process and connect them to the rewarding experience of working within a Venture Creation Studio. 

You will lead some of the most complex leadership searches for the studio and the portfolio companies. They will include identifying talent for engineering, product management, operations, and related technology functions. You will expertly execute the executive search process and build a network in the external talent market. We will need you out in the market developing a robust, multi-channel search strategy to attract strong contributors across several talent verticals. 

What You’ll Do:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for open roles at Aegis Venture Studio and our portfolio companies
- Deeply understand what we do to evangelize our team’s mission, vision, and expectations. 
- Answer candidate questions about strategy, culture, and objectives. 
- Facilitate intake meetings and write compelling job descriptions. Coach and advise internal stakeholders on talent recruiting strategies, processes, and best practices.
- Source and reach out to top-quality candidates through LinkedIn and other social/career platforms
- Conduct preliminary phone screens and interviews with candidates.
- Arrange logistics and engage with candidates as they progress through interview rounds.
- Support the Aegis team through offer negotiationsMaintain close relationships with portfolio companies to provide candidates with full context on the company’s history, key business events, and critical needs.
- Proactively source and maintain active pipelines of excellent talent for future open rolesExecute the strategy to recruit candidates in limited talent pools, build critical competitive research, and develop candidate profiles and core competencies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and the recruiting landscape.
- Play a role in developing new employee experiences, including support for pre-start engagement, dedicated onboarding, onramp support, and relationship building.
- Be obsessed with candidate experience and willing to go above and beyond to support candidates.

What You Have:
- A minimum of 3  years experience in Recruiting or Executive Recruiting focusing on engineering and related technical roles. Experience with leading executive level searches (Sr. Manager, Director, and VP) with a large technology company, executive search firm, or Venture Capital firm preferred.
- Experience building and cultivating relationships with candidates in a global business environment.
- Experience at a high-growth technology startup is preferred
- Experience recruiting for niche technical and strategic executive-level roles
- Prior experience partnering with senior leadership is a plus
- Unrivaled skills in sourcing talent on LinkedIn and other platforms (our processes focus heavily on sourcing passive talent rather than relying solely on ads/inbound applicants)
- Incredibly adaptive and organized personality, including a high sense of urgency coupled with a focus on understanding internal needs.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Dropbox, applicant tracking systems, etc.)
- High emotional intuitiveness, including the ability to swiftly read people and situations.
- Palpable optimism and positivity can easily be felt when engaging with candidates.
- Experience building partnerships and effectively influencing stakeholders.
- Analytical, detail-oriented problem-solver with excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and directed; collaborating is a must, but you will be autonomous and expected to succeed without a ton of direction
- Proactive; taking initiative and follow-through is a must 

We prefer the selected individual to be in New York but are open to a remote location for exceptional talent with experience in the desired, related industries.
