We are looking for an enthusiastic Mobile Developer with a startup mindset to join our client's team. You will be contributing to developing and maintaining apps for a media, technology and commerce company oriented to a black women audience.
As part of this role, you will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality mobile applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to create seamless user experiences across multiple platforms.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to conceptualize and develop mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain mobile solutions in native iOS and Android.
- Implement UI/UX designs and ensure responsive layouts for various screen sizes.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
Hard Skills - Must have:
- Experience with native iOS and Android development.
- Proficiency in programming on Swift and Kotlin.
- Solid understanding of mobile app development principles, including UI/UX design, performance optimization, and responsive layouts.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of backend development and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Understanding of cloud technologies such as Firebase or AWS.
Hard Skills - Nice to have/It's a plus:
- Experience with Flutter mobile development using Dart
Soft Skills:
- Proactive attitude, strong sense of self-motivation, organization, attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, refining project requirements and designing solutions and features.
