We are looking for a Data Scientist (Snowflake) to help our client unlock the full potential of their data and drive business growth. In this role, you will design and implement data science models and analytics solutions leveraging Snowflake, helping stakeholders make smarter decisions and gain actionable insights. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into strategic value, supporting the client’s journey toward a more intelligent and data-driven organization.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy data science models and machine learning solutions using data hosted in Snowflake.
- Leverage Snowflake’s advanced features to create scalable, efficient pipelines for model training and inference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data science use cases.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and statistical analysis to uncover trends and patterns.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance within Snowflake for analytical applications.
- Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of data science workflows, modeling approaches, and outcomes.
- Work closely with DevOps and Data Engineering teams to integrate ML models into production using CI/CD pipelines.
Hard Skills – Must have:
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with hands-on work in Snowflake environments.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and feature generation in Snowflake.
- Experience building and validating predictive models using Python (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).
- Solid understanding of statistics, machine learning techniques, and data mining.
- Experience in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC practices
Hard Skills – Nice to have / It's a plus:
- Experience deploying models into production with MLflow, Airflow, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools for model explainability and visualization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and DevOps practices for data science projects.
- Experience working with ERP data sources such as SAP for advanced analytics use cases.
Soft Skills / Business Specific Skills:
- Proactive, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented in managing complex datasets and models.
