As Head of Marketing you’ll lead Amberflo's marketing department. We’ve built a strong foundation for you to work from, with companies singing praises for the Amberflo platform. Our founding team’s experience positions us to be the leading voice in establishing the UBP solutions category and driving demand with product and engineering teams.

We’re looking for a marketing leader who loves to be hands-on in the early stages of building a company and launching new products. The ideal candidate brings deep product marketing experience and working knowledge of demand gen strategies. They will establish our foundational messaging and positioning, build our content strategy themes, and activate our first marketing programs (PR, SEO, Social, and more) to establish our category leadership with target users and buyers. 

What you will do

    • Define Amberflo’s go-to-market strategy, built on a well-defined view of market needs, competitive landscape, partner ecosystem, and adoption patterns
    • Establish our product marketing foundations to articulate company/category positioning, ICP and buyer personas, product messaging, and user acquisition flows
    • Position Amberflo as the category leader for metering and usage-based pricing; define and evangelize category tenets
    • Establish a content strategy and lead the team in developing high-value content assets that tell a story and capture the imaginations of our buyers
    • Own and drive field enablement, product launches, and strategic partnerships, developing product collateral that accelerates the path from inquiry to customer
    • Manage marketing, SDR, and agency resources to activate our first demand creation programs, with an emphasis on driving dark social, word-of-mouth, influencer-driven demand, owned content, podcasts, blogs, videos, customer testimonials, etc.

Requirements

    • 7+ years in marketing in a B2B SaaS/PaaS environment 
    • Experience integrating strategies between product, marketing, sales, and customer success to achieve revenue goals
    • Strong product storyteller and advocate; able to build and scale content to evangelize a category
    • Strong understanding of the role of content across marketing channels, including knowledge in SEM/PPC, SEO, display, social, video, podcasts, etc.
    • You have a “bias to action”; comfortable being hands-on, defining the company’s first resource needs and marketing plan, and using budgets judiciously as we build to scale
    • Data-driven doer; able to understand and interpret data, and use insights to optimize performance and inform future actions
    • Exceptional communicator; possessing the ability to identify and develop hard-hitting messaging and pithy copy
    • Poise and presentation skills as a company spokesperson in front of press, partners, industry analysts, and customers
    • Skilled collaborator; able to influence and motivate cross-functional team members, even those that don’t report to you
