About this role 

We are looking for a People Operations Associate who will join our People & Operations team and work with us to create the best digital media service in Turkey and beyond.

Requirements

    • 1+ years of experience in a start-up and in a position related to People Operations or Company Culture is a plus,
    • We are looking for a candidate that has worked in a highly-demanding environment which includes meeting tight deadlines, operating multiple fields and communications of work, crisis management, and outside-of-the-box thinking,
    • Strong communication skills with a high variety of people. You’ll be a key person communicating all teams and colleagues in the company as well as  potential employees,
    • Improvement doesn’t come by itself. Ideating new approaches about culture, challenging and improving existing systems, and retrospecting processes in search for better are important,
    • Being passionate about meeting, understanding and approaching people from different backgrounds with the right attitude,
    • Fluency in English and Turkish is required.

Responsibilities

    • Create, update and maintain personnel files, information and documents, 
    • Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of data in People database and other People and recruiting systems,
    • Track, review, and improve digital workspace and communication through all channels, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and functional, 
    • Support the full employment lifecycle of teammates from onboarding through off-boarding while remaining communication with internal and external Accounting and Legal partners,
    • Help review, improve, and document People rules and policies, 
    • Support day-to-day key functions with People and Accounting team (financial operations, compensations, payroll, etc.),
    • Intake and address employee questions relating payroll, benefits, PTOs, company rules and requests regarding all things People,
    • Collaborate on researching best practices for improving existing systems, communications, culture and other internal operations,
    • Track company equipment, address requirements and maintain up-to-date company inventory,
    • Track software database and ensure all software are running well and functional,
    • Manage external recruitment communications through e-mail and other recruiting systems,
    • Operate interview scheduling, case study and offering processes while keeping all hiring managers and other stakeholders on track,
    • Support events, office and other physical operation processes as needed.
