Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO.
The Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO plays a crucial role in supporting the success of the firm through exceptional organization, planning, and communication in the office of the CEO. This is an opportunity for an experienced, highly skilled EA to contribute to a high-impact firm that values innovation, efficiency, and adaptability. This role is responsible for enabling the CEO’s effectiveness by optimizing time and communication, serving as a trusted liaison across the executive leadership team and internal and external stakeholders, including private equity partners. The role includes both professional and personal support responsibilities.

Position Expectations:
- Manage the CEO’s calendar with a forward-looking and strategic lens. The EA is expected to prioritize the CEO’s time, relationships, and responsibilities to reflect business needs and leadership objectives. Operate as both gatekeeper and gateway to optimize access and decision-making.
- Responsible for completing a wide variety of professional and personal responsibilities for the CEO, including managing an extremely active calendar with complex and detailed travel plans; composing and preparing confidential correspondence; and managing the balance of personal and professional engagements.
- Serve as a firm-wide liaison for the CEO’s office, fostering clear communication and cross-functional alignment with practice leaders, segment groups, and office locations. Ensure the right people are informed at the right time while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Communicate and coordinate directly with high-profile clients, investors, and key external stakeholders, handling sensitive matters with professionalism, discretion, and care.
- Manage the organization, preparation, and execution of confidential and sensitive documents, including NDAs, for the CEO and General Counsel. Maintain custodial responsibility for related files and records, ensuring accuracy, discretion, and timely completion as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and triage communication on behalf of the CEO.
- Prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously and proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in relationships with all necessary parties.
- Adhere to compliance with applicable rules and regulations set regarding company matters, including advance distribution of materials before meetings in electronic/paper format.
- Helped the CEO manage a complex and confidential email account, deleting junk, accepting, declining, and deleting unnecessary items for the CEO’s review (“thank you”, etc.), and flagging items of importance.
- Organizing and coordinating conference calls/video conferences.
- Act as a mentor to all administrative and support staff across all Aprio Offices.
- Be a brand ambassador for the Aprio Fundamentals.
- Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary.

Education and Experience Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience supporting Executives, preferably in a high-growth organization.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools.
- Familiarity with the lifecycle of M&A transactions is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with private equity ownership is desirable.
- Maintain an active Notary license.
