Join Aprio's Business Operations team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Manager, Offshore Operations to join their dynamic team.
The Operations Manager (OM) plays a vital role in implementing operational plans, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and productive workflows within the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining compliance, effectiveness, profitability, and trust, while fostering a high-performance culture. The Operations Manager collaborates closely with the Aprio’s US leaders and the rest of the Colombia team to achieve shared objectives and drive organizational success.
This is an on-site role based at Carrera 48 A 16 SUR 86 in Medellin, Colombia.
Position Responsibilities:
- Set and track short and long-term goals aligned with the organization's objectives – The Aprio Way.
- Act as a liaison between Aprio Colombia and US operations.
- Make strategic and well-informed decisions to optimize operational efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate operational policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and overcome operational challenges.
- Strengthen management systems and processes to enhance overall performance.
- Conduct quality checks and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to track, manage, and report operational costs.
- Manage staffing requirements and plan for workforce needs.
- Provide recommendations for materials, technology, and tools to improve operations.
- Ensure timely completion of operational tasks and objectives within budget constraints.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Foster a culture of high performance and integrity within the team.
- Collaborate and build networks with external organizations to drive mutual growth.
- Enhance customer/client service standards, efficiency, and productivity.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives as needed.
- Manage and coach a team of direct reports, working closely with them to ensure operational success.
- Provide assistance and support as it relates to general office needs (e.g. liaising with 3rd party vendors, agencies, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, operations management, or a related field
- 3-5 years of proven work experience in operations management or related leadership roles.
- Experience in Professional Services, BPO/Shared Services, Finance, or Accounting Firms is desirable. Accounting firm experience highly preferred.
- Proficiency in business negotiations and conflict resolution desired.
- Understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and general finance desired.
