Join Aprio's Tax team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for an Experienced Tax Associate to join their dynamic team. 

Position responsibilities:

    • Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge of partnerships, s-corporations, and individual taxation on consulting and compliance engagements
    • Communicate with clients to discuss tax accounting matters
    • Meet client service expectations, adhering to time budgets and maintaining positive client communications.
    • Gain an understanding of Firm policies, procedures, and professional standards through observation/inquiry and adhere to them
    • Represent the Firm in a favorable and professional manner
    • Develop initiative, interpersonal skills, and practical application of technical knowledge
    • Perform other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor and other Firm management as required
    • Respect confidentiality of Firm and client information
    • Overtime is required during tax season (January through April) and occasionally throughout the remainder of the year
    • Deliver highest level of customer service to clients, including those at the executive level
    • Tax planning and multi-state taxation experience

Qualifications:

    • Recent work experience with an accounting firm
    • 2-3 years of experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting
    • Experience in S-Corp, Partnership and/or Individual returns
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology
    • 4 year bachelors degree in Accounting
    • Masters degree in taxation highly preferred
    • Licensed CPA preferred
