Join Aprio's Wealth Management team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for an Insurance Specialist to join their dynamic team.

This role specializes in supporting regional wealth advisors and client stewards with the sale, underwriting and ongoing client service of life, disability and long term care insurance.  Beyond insurance, this role will be part of the overall Aprio Wealth Management operations team helping with new client onboarding, billing and client service. 

Position responsibilities:

    • Support a team of financial advisors with all aspects of insurance sales, underwriting and client service.
    • Input data, prepare proposals and gather information in preparation for client/prospect meetings
    • Create insurance applications, conversions and policy changes assuring completeness and accuracy
    • Arrange medical, paramedical and any exams necessary for underwriting
    • Makes sure all applications are complete before submittal to avoid delays, and additional work for clients
    • Act as a liaison ensuring all requests from underwriters are followed up with in a timely manner 
    • Contact and advise clients regarding late payments and other non-securities sales- and service-related issues
    • Tracks all steps as outlined in our CRM database
    • Ensure client insurance information is up to date in eMoney and utilize eMoney reporting for proactive service
    • Process incoming service requests from clients: process address changes, bank change information, etc.
    • Proactive management of tasks, workflow, and relationships
    • Assist advisors and group operations with new client onboarding, billing and general client service. 
    • This individual maintains electronic client files, file new statements, account forms and other insurance/investment-related materials

Qualifications:

    • Must hold an active license for Life, Long Term Care and Disability Insurance
    • Minimum 5 years experience in supporting high volume insurance sales team
    • Experience with trust and estate documents and corporate agreements
    • Excellent writing and communication skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Hubspot and eMoney
    • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills 
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
    • Ability to proactively identify what needs to be accomplished and take action as appropriate
    • Embraces change and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Investment licensing and experience preferred
