Join Aprio's Corporate M&A Team and you will help the business continue to grow through mergers and acquisitions. Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Transaction Advisory Analyst to join their dynamic team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Compiling and analyzing historical financial data/financial statements provided by sellers
- Processing monthly trial balances and general ledger data to ensure sellers’ detail data reconciles to financial statements
- Building Excel databooks and core schedules to analyze quality of earnings and net working capital trends and assist with valuation of target firms
- Assisting with ad hoc financial due diligence analyses (e.g. client retention and profitability trends, cash proof of revenue, proof of payroll, etc.)
- Assisting Corporate Development team with other ad hoc responsibilities (e.g. initial model setup, request list tracking, etc.)
- Performing final quality control checks on Excel databooks to ensure clerical accuracy with a fine attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain quality under tight timelines
Qualifications:
- Active CPA license or equivalent (or in process of obtaining) preferred
- Prior experience in Transaction Advisory or comparable accounting role preferred
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal and technical accounting skills
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Displaying adequate knowledge of US GAAP
- Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to manage deadlines and work on multiple assignments at once
