Join our Aprio PH Tax team and you will help support clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Tax Associate, Transaction Advisory to join their dynamic group.
 
Aprio’s Transaction Advisory Tax Practice is comprised of a dedicated team focused on the tax aspects of corporate and private equity acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, and capital market transactions. As a Senior Tax Associate, we will look to you to apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas, devising strategic outcomes to tax issues, including US domestic and cross-border tax strategies. Position Responsibilities:

    • As a Senior Tax Associate, you will be a member of the team developing and implementing transactions. You'll spend your time on a diverse array of project and clients in a highly collaborative culture. We'll look to you to develop relationships with our clients and team effectively with internal resources. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
    • Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, participating in due diligence and structuring engagements related to transactions for private equity and strategic corporate clients
    • Perform due diligence projects to provide a thorough review of tax returns, legal documents and financial statements needed to evaluate and calculate potential tax exposures
    • Review, assess, and advise clients regarding tax computations reflected in their financial models; and assist clients in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the tax data in their financial projections for the transaction
    • Communicate frequently with our Atlanta, GA based team in terms of scheduling on active client projects and internal initiatives

Qualifications Needed:

    • Bachelors degree in accounting and around 3 years of related work experience
    • US tax due diligence, tax consulting or tax structuring experience preferred
    • Licensed CPA or candidate status US CPA
    • Experience managing budgets, projects, and people
    • Understanding and applying Microsoft Office skills, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Understanding technology tools such as Power Query and Power Pivot
    • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
    • Working effectively and personably with a diverse group
    • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
