Join Aprio'sOutsourcing team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for an Implementation Specialist to join their dynamic team. 

Position Responsibilities:

    • Work expertly in Xero or QuickBooks online and Bill.com  
    • Tech stack implementation and optimization  
    • Work on a team to support client needs and tailor accounting to the client’s needs and for optimum efficiency for our accounting team.  
    • Provide regular updates on status of implementation and accounting cleanup projects and ensure the delivery of quality projects on time.  
    • Effective communications with project team.  
    • Support client accounting in all industries; SaaS, Professional Services and Ecommerce.  
    • Accounting cleanup, diagnosis, and solutions. 
    • Set up a new QBO or Xero if the client doesn't already have one. 
    • Do conversions from QB Desktop to QBO 
    • Compare tax returns to balance sheets and making adjustments as needed to get a good starting point for our accounting work. 
    • Catch up accounting work - bank coding, cleaning up A/P, reconciling payroll and entering historical payroll JEs, setting up investment assets properly so that they can be reconciled by our team on a monthly basis, setting up clearing accounts and cleaning up e-commerce sales and reconciliations. 
    • Set up Karbon work and processes for ongoing accounting work including setting up depreciation schedules, amortization schedules, accrual / deferral schedules as needed 
    • Create open item spreadsheets and month close spreadsheets for the monthly accounting team to use in their ongoing work. 
    • Set up Bill.com and customizing for the client. 
    • Communicate with the client via email when items are needed or there are questions on cleanup or processes. 

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business, Computer Science or any related field.  
    • At least 3-5 years using or implementing Quickbooks Online and Xero. 
    • Demonstrate an understanding of accounting principles and best practices utilizing financial statements, expense management tools, chart of accounts.  
    • Experience with historical accounting cleanup including:reconciling to tax returns; importing transactions to QBO and Xero; reconciling all cash and liabilities to statements; entering payroll journal entries and reconciling to payroll registers; reconciling investment accounts to statements; reconciling e-commerce accounts and recording revenue; entering trial balance journal entries; reviewing Accounts Receivable and Payable to ensure accuracy;   
    • Knowledge and reconciliation experience with clearing accounts, bank statements, prepaid expenses, accrued revenue, accrued liabilities. 
    • Proficient in analyzing financial statements and adept at identifying discrepancies. 
    • Problem solver with effective communication skills. 
    • Excellent organization and time management skills. 
    • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently. 
    • Strong multitasking skills, adept at handling tasks for multiple clients and quickly adjusting priorities. 
    • Amenable to work: Day shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM PHT
