Join Aprio's Assurance Operations team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for an Audit Project Specialist to join their dynamic team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to all Assurance Job & Project Request Form submissions. Ensure timely and accurate processing of all submissions, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Regularly check for and resolve any job rollover failures to maintain project continuity and avoid delays.
- Perform regular clean-up activities to maintain assurance data integrity within software systems, including CCH Workflow, Practice Engine, and CaseWare.
- Assist with budget maintenance activities as needed to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Provide support for the setup of tasks and jobs related to mergers and acquisitions as needed, ensuring all necessary steps are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor automation exception reporting and resolve any issues.

- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to proactively identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Learn new software quickly and adapt to changing environments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical abilities to identify trends, resolve issues, and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-3 years or more experience working in a professional services organization (accounting experience is a plus).
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with CCH Workflow and Practice Engine is a plus.
