Join Aprio's Growth team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Associate, Growth and Events to join their dynamic team.
Position responsibilities:
- Plan and execute in person events such as the following:
- Client-facing functions
- Large-scale internal team events
- Networking and social events
- Thought leadership seminars
- Coordinate logistics for in-person events, such as securing venues, arranging food and beverage services, and liaising with vendors both prior to and during events.
- Contract hotels and other event spaces by sending RFPs, reviewing proposals and presenting them to the team.
- Assist in managing event timelines to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage an event calendar.
- Writing event copy such as emails, invites, and landing pages.
- Collaborate closely with audio/visual and digital teams to guarantee that virtual events are technically robust, reliable, and tailored to attendees' requirements.
- Oversee and assist with the production of event materials where necessary.
- Consistently measure and communicate the effectiveness and impact of events to key stakeholders.
- Assist with ordering, packaging and shipping promotional items to events, conferences and tradeshows.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in event marketing or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
- Willingness to work outside standard business hours as required.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Familiarity with virtual event platforms is advantageous.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively across diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated capacity to develop strong relationships with internal colleagues and external clients alike.
- Proven ability to collaborate across all hierarchical levels, including senior leadership.
- Capable of working independently and within a team; adept at meeting deadlines and performing under pressure.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Hybrid role based in Atlanta; must be able to commute to the Atlanta office
