Join Aprio's Technology Advisory team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Manager, Technology Advisory to join their dynamic team.
As an Implementation Consultant Manager in our Sage Intacct practice, you will work directly with clients implementing Sage Intacct cloud accounting software with high customer satisfaction and successful customer adoption. In this role, you will have ongoing development of subject matter expertise in Sage Intacct and become a trusted advisor to many different business and industries looking to modernize and improve performance in finance and accounting.
This position requires an inquisitive nature with some key responsibilities. You will need to manage projects from start to finish, multi-task, define solutions, train both the client and team members, data mapping and loading, hands-on configuration of core and advanced modules in the software. Other responsibilities include assisting with 3rd party integrations, responding to support issues, building reports and dashboards, and continually improving on our professional services delivery process and tools.
Prior work experience in Sage Intact is a requirement for this position. Having your Sage Intacct Implementation Certification is a requirement for this position. An understanding of Sage Intacct advanced module experience and expertise is preferred.
Position Responsibilities:
- Configure and implement Sage Intacct accounting software, following our prescriptive implementation methodology resulting in in-scope/on-budget/on-time delivery, high customer satisfaction, and successful customer adoption
- Consult with clients to analyze, define, and document accounting workflows and functional requirements for the implemented solution
- Develop and maintain expertise in Sage Intacct features and functionality applicable to defined industry verticals
- Perform accounting data conversions from various accounting systems (i.e. QuickBooks) to include data cleansing, data mapping, translations, validation, testing, and review
- Design and build industry specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards
- Conduct training for client end-users at all levels of the client organization
- Respond to client technical support issues and own the successful resolution of support tickets
- Work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with internal and external Sage Intacct Consultants, 3rd party integration vendors and internal Aprio practice leadership to ensure successful project delivery
- Deliver prompt, concise, and friendly communication to build trust and long-term relationships with clients
- Provide exceptional customer service to client personnel and internal team
- Work with clients to understand business and financial back-office requirements.
- Define, Create, and Delivery of service scope (statement of work) and corresponding labor estimates to complete assignments
- The ability to gather required information to estimate total project hours, scope, budget, and total revenue to prospect and clients
- Manage the team to the defined scope of work and budget
- Provide lead technical support in business development opportunities.
- Assist in research of new technologies and trends that might impact our clients and make appropriate recommendations
- Team leadership, direction, and engagement supervision of Consultants.
- Assist client with compliance areas associated with financial back office service
- Manage assigned client service engagements
- Execute assigned tasks relating to the client’s back office services or as assigned by the Consulting Manager
- Communicate advice and answer questions of client staff relating to client’s back office services
- Provide training or assistance to client staff relating to client’s back office services
- Perform emergency on-site or remote support as needed as requested by client or other consultants when urgent issues arise
- Pursue advancement in technical back office service capabilities as well as advancement in “soft skill” competencies
- Mentor other consultants and assist them with client management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or MIS
- CPA, CMA, or PMP certification is preferred
- Sage Intacct Certifications: Core Implementation is required and advanced certifications preferred
- Five (5) + years’ experience in one or more of the following areas: Consulting and implementing Sage Intacct, Restaurant365, NetSuite, Acumatica, or similar SaaS financial applications for multiple clients
- Project Management of ERP and SAAS related implementation projects
- Experience in a professional services firm or private industry experience focused on the financial and/or accounting space In-depth understanding of accounting standards, general ledger/subledger concepts, and financial close procedures
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, macros, etc.) for efficient data mapping, integration, and migration of customer data
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with employees at all levels of a client’s organization, including executive leadership
- Self-motivated with excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills
- Excellent attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and high personal quality expectations
- Ability to successfully multi-task across projects, customers, and internal activities
- Highly enthusiastic, proactive, positive-minded, customer-focused, and service-oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
