Join Aprio's Corporate M&A Team and you will help the business continue to grow through mergers and acquisitions. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Corporate Development Analyst to join their dynamic team.
Position responsibilities:
- New acquisition diligence and analysis
- Work with Acquisition Director to create the initial acquisition financial model based upon diligence, identifying all the operational metrics to achieve pro forma projection
- Analyst will work with Acquisition Director in the creation of presentations to be sent to the Acquisition Committee and/or Board for approval
- Work with the entire leadership team on the diligence process: operational, financial and legal
- After an acquisition is complete, assist with the integration process as needed
- Identifying potential new market opportunities
- Analyst will spend time analyzing geographical and sector opportunities for potential acquisition
- Market Mapping
- Acquisition availability and target list
- Acquisition Process Management
- Analyst will assist Acquisition Director in the management of deal timelines, pipeline reports, and coordination with integrations and operations
- Board Presentations
- Analyst will work with Acquisition Director on the creation of Board presentation materials and working with individual departments on the content and timing of slides
- Acquisition Performance Analysis
- Analyst will work with Acquisition Director on the creation of post-acquisition performance analysis as needed
Operational Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any business degree
- 4-5 years of professional experience, including 1.5 years of transaction advisory services or related M&A experience
- High proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
- Excellent quantitative, written, communication and presentation skills
- Strong work ethic with a team focused mentality
- Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve complex problems
$85,000 - $115,000 a year
The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
