The Head of Human Resources will use their knowledge of Human Resources, employment law, and business to ensure our employees and environment reflect our core values. Working closely with senior management, the Head of Human Resources will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an enterprise-wide Human Resources Department.


    • Assist senior management in developing internal policies that match the company’s core values
    • Manage daily employee relations interactions with a focus on maintaining a positive culture of employee empowerment
    • Manage team member relations and assist in in resolving issues including conducting internal investigations, documenting, reviewing, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions to ensure consistent policy applications and legal compliance
    • Work with support staff to ensure that all HR administrative functions, including payroll new hire paperwork, personnel file maintenance (including I-9s), records retention, etc. are handled in an accurate, compliant, and timely manner
    • Assist with annual benefit open enrollment meetings
    • Coordinate employee training and development
    • Provide leadership and coaching to management and business unit leaders
    • Assist with management of employee relations, talent management (including progression and succession) and compliance
    • Assure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and corporate policies/guidelines and identify opportunities to develop and implement new practices/guidelines to achieve business goals


    • Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR role
    • Demonstrated professionalism and business acumen
    • Working knowledge of payroll law, employee benefits, and other HR policies
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage in creating an amicable work environment
    • Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail
    • Willingness to build an HR department from the ground up
