Arbol seeks a Junior Quantative Developer! This role involves working closely with Arbol's Chief of Risk and Technical Director of Risk to hack on modeling and data science projects within Arbol's Python risk framework. This is a great opportunity for someone with some data science or ML experience looking to expand their fintech toolkit.

This role requires some knowledge of math and probability theory, but heavily is focused on Python. Thus, a Computer Science degree is preferred. You will be helping with implementation of different components in the risk and pricing frameworks, as well as related libraries.

Salary for this position is between $60k and $120k depending on experience, with opportunities to advance to beyond the "junior" level at 6 month intervals. See below for salary bands beyond the junior level.

Requirements

    • 1+ year of work experience in python
    • Familiarity with several python frameworks
    • Numpy and pandas experience is a plus
    • Strong development skills: TDD, CI, version control
    • Strong coding patterns knowledge

Team Member: $140k-$160k
Team Lead: $170k-$200k
Technical Director: $190k-$220k
