We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Product Manager to lead the development and management of our carbon markets projects, including data and insurance products. This role involves leveraging deep industry knowledge to create products that effectively serve the growing needs within the carbon market space, ensuring alignment with global sustainability goals.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and manage product roadmaps for Arbol's carbon market data and insurance products, ensuring they meet market needs and compliance standards.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand trends, identify customer needs, and analyze competitive products within the carbon markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, sales, and technical departments, to develop and implement effective product strategies.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept through development, launch, and post-launch analysis.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators for product success, making data-driven decisions to enhance product offerings.
- Prepare and present detailed product updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay informed of regulatory developments affecting carbon markets globally to ensure product compliance and to anticipate market shifts.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably in environmental finance, carbon markets, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of carbon trading mechanisms, regulatory environments, and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of successful product development and management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in handling complex datasets.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Passion for sustainability and climate-related initiatives.
$100,000 - $130,000 a year
Salary ranges for this role are for New York City applicants.
Candidates for this role must be located in the United States.
