Join Archive in our mission to change consumer behavior for the better. If you think humans buy too much stuff and throw too much away, then this problem is for you. We’re starting with fashion and expanding from there.

Archive is building an ‘operating system for resale’ that delivers a customized online secondhand marketplace site and the underlying infrastructure and operations to plug into all of the other facets of a brand’s global resale strategy.

We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic person, who defines success as seeing our brand partners succeed, to join our exciting and fast growing Brand Success team. You will work cross-functionally across the team at Archive — including with the CEO, CTO, Head of Strategy & Operations, Head of Marketing, and the Brand Success team. You will collaborate with brands to make each partner’s resale program feel unique. You are excited to wear many hats and have a problem-solving mentality.

About the role

    • Join an exciting and fast growing Brand Success team. In your role you will be responsible for growing our business with a set of brands. You will both serve as a strategic partner to brands—evaluating their needs and recommending improvements to their business—and work closely with our product team—prioritizing and implementing improvements to the experience and introducing new lines of business.
    • Serve as a consultant, advisor, and extension of a brand’s team in helping grow their resale business—proactively evaluating the brand’s performance and recommending opportunities to grow or improve their business.
    • Ensure the brand’s experience with Archive is positive — structuring communications and touchpoints with them and bringing in key members of the Archive team to meet with the brand as needed.
    • In some instances, take on a consultative selling role to introduce new Archive products and features to improve and expand their business with us.
    • Maintain relationships and strategic discussions with a large variety of brands — serving as the “brand marketing” touchpoint to keep Archive top of mind with our partners.
    • Location: US-Based. Remote, with some travel for in-person collaborative work. We also have offices in NYC and Manhattan Beach, LA for those who prefer to work in office.

About you

    • You are a visionary and strategic problem solver who enjoys learning about new businesses and models quickly, building relationships and trust with clients, educating on insights relevant to growth, balancing short and long term goals, and operationalizing large projects.
    • You are able to build credibility with brands and internally to get projects delivered quickly.
    • You thrive on cross-functional project management and enjoy structuring large projects into key analysis and deliverables.
    • You are able to relate to the needs of a wide range of individuals and building consensus among them
    • You love the retail industry and are up to date with current events in the space.
    • You’re excited about joining a small, early-stage team and are willing to wear many hats and work creatively to improve brands’ business and experience with us.
    • You are mission-driven and love the fact that the better we do as a company, the less waste we’ll see in the world.

Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, data science, retail management, or a related field
    • 3-6 years of work experience, ideally within consulting, e-commerce, business operations, or other strategic role
    • You are familiar with how retailers operate and have either consulted for retailers or have a retail (apparel, accessories, other consumer goods) background
    • Technical product expertise isn’t necessary, but the ability to engage the team and experts at the right points in time is critical to success in this role
    • Demonstrated project management skills with exceptional attention to detail
    • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities, with experience taking a concept from analysis and strategy to project plan, deliverables, cross-functional execution, and lastly performance review and learnings
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects at a time
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
