August Bioservices is looking for a GMP Cleaner to join our Manufacturing Group in Nashville, TN.

The Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Cleaner role is accountable and responsible for maintaining a clean working environment that meets the standards of current GMP requirements at the Nashville, TN site.  This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the qualification and start-up of a new manufacturing facility for Aseptic Formulation and Filling to establish a state-of-art manufacturing operation.  The GMP Cleaner will coordinate and perform all required daily, weekly, and monthly cleanings in the manufacturing facility for rooms and critical equipment.  Additional responsibilities include organizing clean storage areas, routine inventory of consumable items, and re-stocking of supplies.

Responsibilities

    • Responsible for maintaining a clean working environment that meets the standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
    • Coordinate and perform all required daily, weekly, and monthly cleanings in the manufacturing facility for rooms and critical equipment
    • Responsible for organizing storage areas, routine inventory of consumable items, and re-stocking supplies
    • Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing core operations equipment throughout the manufacturing facility
    • Complete GMP documentation for batch records and logbooks
    • Comply with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) responsibilities for the role
    • Communicate with Supervisor, co-workers, managers, and clients in a professional manner
    • Follow relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, etc.
    • Must be able to work overtime when required

Requirements

    • Minimum education - High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience working in a pharmaceutical or other GMP regulated environment or relevant cleaning experience preferred
    • Previous aseptic experience is preferred.
    • Good documentation and communication skills and strong attention to detail.
    • Able to work in a team environment.
    • Good interpersonal skills and self-motivated.
    • Shifts of 8-12 hours in duration.  Must be able to work overtime when needed.  Must not be allergic to industrial chemicals and detergents.
    • Must be able to lift over 40 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
