Editorial – Inverse /
We are seeking a journalist with experience covering science and health, but their most important assets are insatiable curiosity and the drive to report and write entertaining and authoritative stories.

At Inverse, we privilege great storytelling, memorable interviews, and unconventional angles. Inverse readers are smart, young, and ready to learn about their world and themselves. We need a journalist who can unpack hard science for a big audience and do it with a sense of humor. If you want to do the work to make science approachable for all readers, you’ll shine here. If you pride yourself on your memorable ledes and nut grafs that stitch together the details to present a cosmic idea, you’ll be a star at Inverse.

A big part of this role is speaking to scientists in their language and then translating for the reader, meeting them where they are, and empowering them with the science to answer their biggest questions about life as we know it.

If you want to use science to debunk myths about vitamin D, please apply. If you find the emerging links between the brain and the gut microbiome fascinating, we want to hear from you.
