We are looking for an energetic, organized, and initiative-taker Sales Assistant to join our BDG team!
Reporting into our SVP, Sales, the Sales Assistant will work directly with key leaders within the sales organization.

The position is responsible for administrative tasks in support of the team including coordinating meetings both internally and externally with clients, maintaining schedules, written correspondence, interfacing with clients, and preparing presentations and media kits, as well as supporting the preparation of advertising sales revenue reports.

This will be a great opportunity for candidates who are interested in exploring and growing within the sales and revenue functions of a fast-growing online media company.

Resonsibilities

    • Working with VP and above Sales staff to set up internal and external meetings and manage calendars
    • Coordinating/booking both internal and external meetings: setting up conference rooms, Zoom/Microsoft teams, etc.
    • Submitting travel and entertainment reports for reimbursement
    • Arranging travel and ensuring that company policies and guidelines for travel and expenses are followed
    • Provide overall administrative support for the team
    • Proactively support and quickly provide answers to questions from the team on ongoing initiatives or new projects.

Requirements

    • The ideal candidate will be an energetic initiative-taker with excellent organization, communication and people skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
    • An active interest in Media and knowledge of general media terms are a plus.
    • Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently and stay organized and focused in a fast-paced environment
    • Exhibit a friendly and helpful manner and be able to work well with others in a team environment
    • A strong working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point is required.
    • This role reports to the SVP Sales based in NYC, and would be required to work 2 to 3 days in the office each week.
    • BDG’s COVID-19 vaccination policy requires all staff to provide proof of vaccination for in-person meetings and work
