Overview:

The Biden For President campaign is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to support the execution of the campaign’s robust surrogate program. This role will support the Surrogates team in their execution of surrogate events across the key states. To be successful in this role candidates will require creative and strategic thinking, an ability to problem solve under pressure, strong social and written skills, attention to detail, highly organized, and a willingness to tackle tasks small and large. 

Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain a checklist for each surrogate trip to ensure it is properly executed
    • Develop a comprehensive schedule for surrogates that covers the duration of their trip
    • Write briefing materials for surrogates ahead of travel
    • Ensure all travel needs are taken care of for surrogate travel
    • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience working on Capitol Hill, as a scheduler, or on a campaign
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills; strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a detail-oriented manner
    • Ability to handle projects with the appropriate level of discretion and confidentiality
    • Ability to work well under pressure with humor and grace 
    • A team player that recognizes the importance of working collaboratively and a ‘no task too small’ attitude
$60,000 - $65,000 a year
