Overview: The Biden for President campaign is looking to hire a Senior Digital Ads Strategist to support the Biden Victory Fund advertising program. You’ll be responsible for brainstorming, developing, buying, optimizing, and reporting on ads campaigns with ambitious fundraising and mobilization goals. You will work closely with the rest of the digital ads team to raise money, grow our supporter base, and persuade and mobilize voters.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop ad campaigns from start to finish: Write engaging ad copy and scripts, build landing pages, work with the design and video teams to produce compelling graphics and videos that inspire donors and voters to action.
    • Proofread and review campaign content developed by ad strategists for tone and voice, ensuring that copy and creative assets align with ad campaign goals and larger team objectives.
    • Use expert ad buying skills to optimize campaigns across all digital platforms, especially Meta and Google Ads. You’ll provide leadership around ad buying, reporting, and daily optimizations to ensure we’re hitting fundraising goals.
    • Own the development of plans to target, grow, and reactivate some of the largest audiences in politics in partnership with email and data/analytics colleagues.
    • Compile detailed reports to drive future strategy and inform stakeholders.
    • Experiment on how to best reach and mobilize our supporters online and tell a story that is coherent and integrated across all channels.
    • Collaborate with colleagues within the DNC’s Mobilization department and on the Biden campaign to execute integrated ad programs (e.g. using digital ads to support direct mail, merchandise, and sustainer initiatives.).
    • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

    • 2-3 years of experience running and scaling direct-response digital ad campaigns using Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads in support of an electoral campaign, advocacy organization, or non-profit organization.
    • Established creative who can write to inspire people to take action or become part of a movement.
    • Analytical thinker who has experience making data-informed optimizations on a daily basis.
    • Active collaborator with creative and analytical partners; and use best practices across disciplines to generate ads campaigns of the highest possible quality. 
    • Excel/Google Sheets expert and have experience manipulating data sets and creating visualizations for reporting to inform decision making. 
    • Adept with CRMs and fundraising platforms such as ActBlue, Action Network, ActionKit, or NGP.
    • Willing to relocate to the Wilmington, Delaware area.
$65,000 - $85,000 a year
